I don’t know how to make it work, because that’s not really what your dream is. It’s not a place or a final point; what you’re really looking for is the thrill of the journey. To make progress towards XY and Z. The progress, the journey, the ride (pun intended) is the dream. It is not the roses at the end of the journey; rather the culmination of all the rides, work, small victories and grit to get to that special moment: that is the dream.
